A genuine leather bag from Lequnex is made to last for generations. Leather is a living, natural material that gains more beautiful character and patina over time – if cared for properly. Follow our guide to extend the life of your investment.
Protect your bag immediately. We recommend treating the leather with a high-quality impregnation spray designed for genuine leather. This creates an invisible barrier against rain, moisture and dirt.
Dust: Wipe the bag weekly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth.
Stains: If you get a stain, use a slightly damp cloth with lukewarm water. Never rub hard, but dab gently to avoid damaging the leather's pores.
Warning: Avoid chemicals, detergents or wipes with alcohol, as these will dry out and discolor the leather.
Leather can dry out and crack if it gets too dry.
Apply a neutral leather conditioner or leather cream 2–4 times per year.
Using a soft cloth, work the conditioner in circular motions and allow it to fully absorb before using the bag again. This will keep the leather supple and water-repellent.
If you are surprised by rain:
Wipe off excess water with a soft towel.
Let the bag dry on its own at room temperature .
Important: Never place the bag near a radiator or use a hair dryer. Extreme heat will cause the leather to harden and become brittle.
When you are not using your bag:
Fill it out: Use tissue paper or bubble wrap to help the bag maintain its original shape.
Dustbag: Store it in the included cloth bag (dustbag) to avoid dust and scratches.
Avoid sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can fade the color of genuine leather.
Lequnex Tip: Treat your bag with love, and it will carry your belongings in style for many years to come. Do you have questions about a specific model? Contact us at [email protected].
